A Week of Emily and Harley

My youngest sister, Emily, has decided to move away from us!  She has gotten a job in Denver and taken Harley and Samson with her.  My hubby and I were so lucky to get to visit them this summer.  They were wonderful hosts.  We had a great time!!!  This is the first time that I have been able to take their pictures...so we made it count.  I have been so bad about finishing them up that I have decided to devote an entire week on the blog to them.  Stay tuned....more pics to come!!!

Nicole and Dylan are married!

What a great wedding!  I love these guys.  If you will remember I introduced you to them a while back when I took their engagement pics.  I was Nicole's 7th grade reading teacher.....yea...I am feeling a bit old right now.  

It doesn't get any better than this.

This is my youngest nephew.  He is in the 3rd month of his life and is amazing!!!

Family Reunion

This is a picture from my friends family reunion.  My husband and I got to take a trip to Branson to stay a night in their amazing cabin at Big Cedar Lodge.  I will never think of a cabin the same again...they were awesome.  I love this picture!

I know you shouldn't have favorites....

but these girls are some of them!  I have been lucky enough to photograph them at some of the most special times of their lives...and I am honored.  It doesn't hurt that their mom is one of my most favoritist (is that a word?) people in the world!!!

Powerful Women....part 3

In my 3 part series of strong and amazing women....we meet up with Geneva again.  She has always wanted to skydive.  She got it approved by her doctor and as you can see in the following pictures....SHE ACTUALLY DID IT!!  I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

Morton Wedding

This awesome wedding took place at The Skelly Lodge.  It was one of the most amazing places to have a wedding!  The wedding party stayed the night.  It was kind of like a bed and breakfast. 

I was so impressed with this couple.  They are so adorable and just as sweet!

Powerful Women....part 2

This is the one that I wanted to post first....but I wasn't sure how my friend would feel about it.  This just tells you how cool she is.   She wanted me to post it just in case anyone was going through what she has.  She is such a strong lady!  My stepson said that he had no idea she was even going through this.  He said...."Her wigs are awesome!"

Powerful Women

I have 2 friend that have cancer!  They are some of the most amazing women that I have ever met.  I have had the honor of taking their pictures lately.  

The first picture is Kelly...and she has on one of her beautiful wigs.  She is an amazing science teacher at my school.  She is finished with chemo and is stronger than I can ever imagine being! 

This is Geneva.  She is a fellow librarian!!  She is an amazingly positive person.  The last picture is of her family.  I wanted to show how much they are behind her in her fight with cancer.

He is really 2 1/2 weeks now...but who's counting!
