Awaiting Ava

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of my niece. We had 2 weeks of wonderful showers in Texas and Oklahoma getting ready for her. The first 2 are from the Oklahoma shower.

Here are the very sweet east Texas ladies that threw her Texas shower.

My mom and I were lucky enough to get to stay with my sister-in-laws parents. They live in this amazing neighborhood that has everything from Zebras to enormous pine trees. We had a great time and felt like we were on an African Safari.

Getting In Touch...

This is my very talented brother-in-law. He sings the music that is on my website. I really liked this picture...even though the quality is not the best. I think it really shows that he is in touch with his feminine side!!

There Really Is A Glow!

This is my beautiful sister-in-law. She is due towards the end of March. She does have a small window that she is not allowed to deliver in...that is when I am out of town. This baby girl has got it made with these guys as parents. Look how handsome my brother is in the last one.

Prince Charming

Lately we have been facing some struggles. My wonderful husband was laid off from his job toward the beginning of November....and on Thursday we found out that he is diabetic. Other little things like the brakes going out on the jeep and the steering column losing a huge bolt out of the suburban are just the icing on the cake....the cake we can't eat anymore. I am proud of how he has handled all of this. We have enjoyed some great snow days together due to his unemployment. I just pray that God will put him in a wonderful job soon and that we will have the will power that we need with this diabetes. We are on our way to being healthier!!!

Off To Arizona!

This is my friend and her beautiful family. We are both librarians at different schools. Aren't her girls beautiful. The boy is not too bad either...but she didn't give birth to him.

My Step-Kids

I don't think this will be the last post of the year...but I wanted to make sure that I got to post these cute kids. I can't believe how much they have grown in the past 4 1/2 years. We are close to having 2 teenagers in the house....hormone city! I know that I am not always the best step-monster...but I do want them to know how much I love them.

New Mommy

I got to take some pictures of our friends from our old church. She is now a mommy, a step-mommy and a grandma. That is a lot to become all at once! Here she is with her new baby and one of her grandson. I had a great time. Congrats on your little one!!
